Highly Defined

It's been a crazy week.

Came back to town on night of 17 March. Rested for 1 day and then it's all out action for the following 5 days. Which brings to me where I am now.

While I was away, I managed to acquire a few BluRay DVDs at a reasonable price. Those that are found in Singapore are going at a amazing S$60-S$70 per DVD. It's ridiculous. Singapore is really sad and behind in many areas. These BluRay DVDs are available all over the Video Shops in the city that I have just been. However in Singapore, you can only find some in HMV and a particular shop that sells it at ridiculous prices. Better off ordering from Amazon.

Now these Blu-Ray are really amazing. The High Definition presentation of these movies are simply amazing. After watching High Definition DVDs, you would not wanna watch the normal DVDs anymore... Have some titles that I will have to lay my hands on..hopefully in 2 weeks time..when I will be submerged again..

This week have been amazingly busy. Accompolished something that I am happy and proud of. Yes, it's about work. That's just say the feeling of winning is amazing. Just amazing. It's like you have scored a goal in a high tension football match kinda feeling.

I need to get all my work in order before submerging on the 6th April. Something that I have been looking forward to...

Let's hope that the next 2 weeks are not as crazy as thhe past 2. After that would be break time, follow by more busy times in late April...

Submerged

Past week's been really busy.

So much had happened. Fell sick. It seems like whenever I am going to this particular Country, I will fall sick. Hmmm...maybe I am not suitable for that Country...haha!!

Well, gonna be Submerged for a week. Work work and more work... The next time you "see" me is gonna be next weekend.(Let's hope I have nice photos to show when I am back, if I managed to make any time in betweens...)

In the mean time, enjoy yourself and we shall "talk" soon!

Welcome to the New Generation

It's here.

Today is the officla local launch for PS3.

Finally. 3 months late.

Made a point to leave work early and hit to the launch party. Today launched with only 200 sets. However, the retailers should get their stock from tomorrow onwards. However, many retailers will prioritise those that pre-ordered with them.

Interesting thing about today's launch is, not as crowded as expected. Good & Bad. Good for serious buyers and gamers. Bad for sales.

I managed to secure a set, thank you.

It's a little "exclusive" launch for Sony here, considering what Microsoft did for the 360. Singapore is a small and easy market for Sony, basically they do not need to shipped out huge suppliers here(unlike USA and Japan).

Today's launch is very much like what Japan did. Get in line, fill in a purchase form, get your confirmed number for the queue. If you are the number 201 person in queue, sorry. But my guess is that nobody went home disappointed this evening. I am sure alot of people will be hooking up their console this evening and start going online to the SONY Playstation Online store, downloading HD movies, Games etc. Cool!

Now have to wait for MIL's good news of bringing back the Blu-Ray DVDs for me next week. Finally, HD movies at home!! Yeah!

I do not have the time to fix it up to the TV as yet. It's gonna be interesting, I will save that for tomorrow.

Of course I will be thinking about this fellow all the time at work tomorrow....

Tremors

Just 1 hour prior, some buildings in Singapore were shaking.

Office buildings in Raffles Place, like Republic Plaza, Samsung Hub are all shaking. Companies evacuated their staffs.

In SUNTEC, the 5 towers were all shaking. More evacuation. The building I am in experienced mild shaking and vibration.

All these due to the quake in Sumatra. Whenever somewhere in the region have a earthquake, our buildings will tremble..this is kinda scary. As the nation have no history of earthquake, moost of our buildings are not built for counter reacting to an earthquake should it happens directly here. It's all scary and unpredictable.

Let's hope that everything is safe and nothing happens.

Jack Bauer Must Die

OK. This is a desperation came true.

Day 6 is currently airing in USA...it's bloody huge. Jack Bauer is back.

I was shock to see this DVD on the shelf of HMV last Friday...It contains the first 4 hours of Day 6...arghhed!!!!! THE FIRST 4 HOURS!!! WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Without even think twice, bought it and put it safely into my bag.

This is amazing...Watched thru the first 2 hours on Saturday Morning with the loudest volume turned on from the speakers... It never failed to exceed expectation. NEVER. IT ROCKS!!!

Now I have only 2 more hours to watch and will have to wait untill, at least Oct 2007 for the rest of the 20hrs to be released in DVD format in Singapore...arghhed...

Jack..Jack!! JACK!!

Busy Bee

Been really busy for the past week.

It will only get worst.

Next week is the launch finally. 3 months late compate to USA and Japan. All sorts of speculation and rumors surrounding the local launch, but the local price in comparison to Japan, USA, Hong Kong, Taiwan is the cheapest. That's good news.

But dun think will have time to enjoy it next week after acquiring... will be submerged from next Sunday to a week...sigh..more busy times ahead... arghhed!

Pimples poping out, temper growing..all signs of busy work...

Looking forward to next week's launch...
